UNITED SIKHS and HungerMitao (means wipeout Hunger) are partnering to intensify humanitarian relief operations on the Polish-Ukrainian border where thousands of families remain waiting in freezing cold temperatures without access to shelter, warm clothing, and deprived of necessities like food and water.

UNITED SIKHS has spent over 2 decades serving humanity in 40+ natural and manmade disasters around the globe, including assisting 141 Afghan refugees to obtain political asylum in Mexico.
HungerMitao is a volunteer-driven grassroots movement focused on raising awareness about hunger and engaging the community to fight hunger through the Feeding America network of food banks. Over the four years since its launch on September 29, 2017, the movement has enabled 40 million meals for Feeding America and Food Banks in North Texas, Tarrant Area, Houston, New York City, Atlanta, and Seattle.
Together, UNITED SIKHS and HungerMitao provided humanitarian aid to those who had lost their homes and belongings during havoc caused by Hurricane Ida. They subsequently stepped up to extend help to those impacted by the tornadoes that ripped through Kentucky, Arkansas, Missouri, and Tennessee.

Over a dozen volunteers from the UK, Germany, and the USA are currently on the Ukraine border, risking their lives and providing urgently needed supplies like Packaged Food, Female Hygiene, and Sanitation Kits, Children’s items, Clothing, and other essentials.

Friends, the need is immense, and the resources are depleting fast. We have first-hand reports of children dying of freezing cold temperatures, many are in desperate need of critical medical care. We need your urgent help in scaling up this volunteer operation to include temporary heated shelters that can house upwards of 200 individuals at a time to protect vulnerable families from harsh weather conditions. Along with this important rescue measure, the UNITED SIKHS food truck will continue to offer relief supplies with your support.
